Project Description:

Starvue is a private audio gallery in Bushwick, Brooklyn featuring a vintage Klipschorn sound system & amazing wood floors for your feet to dance the night away. Starvue is a place for like minded individuals looking to get away from the daily rigors of everyday life through movement. Following in the tradition of David Mancuso's legendary 'Loft' parties from which all forms of DJ parties descend, this is a noncommercial space, requesting a monetary contribution from each guest for the sole purpose of covering the expenses of the event. Beyond this, nothing is for sale, allowing the focus to be on the music and the community of individuals united through dance. The space features a ultra high fidelity 4 point Klipsch sound system hand picked by the owner from the home studios of private audiophile owners throughout the east coast. The DJ booth is a high-tech vibration isolated mahogany console which hold 4 turntables and an original Bozak mixer running sound to the system through McIntosh amps. The result is a purity in sound unparalleled in any New York venue. Starvue was named in New York Magazines "Best of 2015"
